What is EXPS?
EXPS is a comprehensive
software program designed specifically for the building materials
retailer to instantly price complete barn, garage and shop material
packages.
How does
it work?
First off, EXPS needs to know
about your material cost and SKU#’s. This information is entered into
the Master Material List (one time only and then updated as necessary).
In-stock, special order and not included items are easily accommodated.
This information is password protected for “manager only” access.
EXPS integrates an
“off-line” copy of the BGS Plan Company website giving you access to
over 1500 buildings to choose from. Finding the right plan is easier
than ever and no internet connection is required.
EXPS then associates the
store information with the selected building’s material list creating a
professional looking handout with a floor plan, elevations, and total
retail price.
What does it do for the
manager ?

material list including SKU#, cost, retail, profit per line item,
special order items and items not included in the package.
